FIELD AFTER SERVICEFOUNDATIONVETERAN LED. ROOTED IN KANSAS.
Supporting veterans’ mental well-being through time outdoors, shared purpose, and the kind of camaraderie that makes it easier to connect. Join us in the field, on the water, and around the campfire.
01 / WHY WE EXIST
Our mission goes beyond the hunt. We’re building opportunities for veterans to reconnect, find community, and support their mental and emotional well-being through the outdoors.
Founded by Marine Corps veterans and rooted in Kansas, we’re carrying the spirit of service into the outdoors. Through hunting, fishing, conservation, and shared experiences, we aim to strengthen connection, belonging, and purpose for veterans and active-duty service members.
We want to create a place where veterans can show up as they are, build friendships, and have someone beside them. We’re working to reduce physical, financial, and social barriers so more veterans can take part.
WHY THE OUTDOORS MATTERS TO OUR MISSION
Supporting mental well-being is at the heart of what we’re building. A hunt or fishing trip creates the opportunity. The friendships, conversations, and sense of belonging are what we want to carry forward.
Time together, away from everyday distractions, with people who share a connection to service.
A welcoming place to share a laugh, learn a skill, or talk when you’re ready, with no pressure to tell your story.
Something meaningful to do together, from preparing for an outing to caring for habitat and helping another veteran.
Our focus is outdoor recreation and peer connection. These experiences complement, rather than replace, professional mental-health care.
02 / WHAT WE'RE BUILDING
Our planned outings are designed to make room for friendship, conversation, and shared purpose. Dates and applications will be announced as partnerships and preparations come together.
Hunting opportunities built around safe access, shared knowledge, and the kind of conversation that happens in a blind before sunrise.
HUNTING & OUTDOOR SKILLSFishing outings that make room to slow down, reconnect, and build friendships beyond military service.
